Norwalk Police Department Welcomes New Officers

Norwalk Police have added two new officers to their ranks.

During a ceremony on Monday, Dec. 9, Norwalk Mayor Harry Rilling sworn in Matt Sauer and Brent Crawford, said the Norwalk Police Department.

Sauer has been in law enforcement for 21 years, serving with the NYPD and most recently with the Metropolitan Transportation Authority Police Department, where he retired as a captain.

Crawford comes from the Orange Police Department, where he has served for the past three years.

Both officers will complete the field training program before being assigned to the Patrol Division.
